Limited Warranty
1 year parts and labor
All Laser products and services are warranted
to be free from defects in materials or workmanship for one year from
the date of purchase. Under this Agreement, the “Services”
shall mean any and all services in connection with the Laser Products
within the limitation of the product’s warranty but not limited
to, start- up, repair, parts replacement services, maintenance or warranty
services and any other after sales-services.
Within the one-year period of time, Laser Corporation, will, at its
sole option, repair or replace any components which fail in normal use.
Such repairs or replacement will be made at no charge to the customer
for parts or labor, provided that the customer shall be responsible
for any transportation cost.
This warranty does not apply if the product or part thereof, has been
damaged or rendered defective through alteration, improper installation,
mishandling, misuse, neglect, accident, or by removal or defacement
of the factory serial number/bar code label(s). The opinion of the Company
with respect to this matter shall be final.
THE WARRANTIES AND REMEDIES CONTAINED HEREIN ARE EXCLUSIVE AND IN LIEU
OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING
ANY LIABILITY ARISING UNDER ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, STATUTORY OR OTHERWISE. THIS WARRANTY GIVES
YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS, WHICH MAY VARY FROM STATE TO STATE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL LASER BE LIABLE FOR ANY INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, INDIRECT
OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, WHETHER RESULTING FROM THE USE, MISUSE OR
INABILITY TO USE THE PRODUCT OR FROM DEFECTS IN THE PRODUCT. SOME STATES
DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO
THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
No person or representative is authorized to assume for Laser any liability
other than expressed herein in connection with the sale of this product.
Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty
lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential
damage so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you.
This Warranty gives you specific legal rights and you may also have
other rights which vary from state to state.
Laser shall not be liable for any delay, loss, damage or injury caused
by Acts of God, governmental order or regulation, restraining imposed
by governmental action, war, war-like situation, hostilities, governmental
disposal, mobilization, blockage, embargo, custody, revolution, fire,
earthquake, tornado, explosion, storm, flood, or for any other cause
beyond its reasonable control (“Force Majeure”). Laser retains
the exclusive right to repair or replace the product at its sole discretion.
SUCH REMEDY SHALL BE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR ANY BREACH OF
WARRANTY.
Warranty Repairs
We have a one year warranty on all of our hardware. Please call our
technical support department (02) 98703355 or e-mail
support@gpsnavigationfordummies.com.au so we can assign you an RMA (Returned
Merchandise Authorization). If you have done any troubleshooting on
your own, please be prepared to give this information to our technical
support representatives. We will also require a proof of purchase that
shows the date that you purchased this device, the name or part number
of the package, and the place that you bought it from.
RMA procedure:
1. Email support@gpsnavigationfordummies.comau
2. Troubleshoot problem via email
3. Request for RMA number & return instruction. You may be asked
to fill out a RMA form at our web site.
4. Return product in a secure and durable package to prevent damage
during transit
5. Please make sure to enclose the following:
Your name
Address
Telephone number
A description of problem
Serial number of unit
RMA number
6. Please mark your assigned RMA number visibly and clearly on the outside
of the box
7. Your claim will be evaluated by our technical specialist. Repair
services will be performed as soon as possible.
Note: Repairs have a 45 day warranty. If the unit sent in is still under
its original warranty, then the new warranty is 45 days or to the end
of the original one year warranty, depending upon which is longer.
Laser Corporation is not responsible for products damaged or lost in
shipping.
